Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
The Architect Protocol is run by me, Alena, personally - a sole proprietor in the United States, not a company with a data department. Here's what I collect and what I do with it - no surprises.
What I collect
Your email address, if you choose to give it to me through the form on this site. Separately, analytics record some anonymous information about visits - see Analytics below for exactly what.
Why
To send you the guide and playlist you signed up for, and occasional updates after that - new tools, things I've learned, the toolkit if you want it. Nothing else.
Where it lives
Your email is stored with MailerLite, the service I use to send these emails. I don't sell, rent, or share your email with anyone else, for any reason. I keep it until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it - there is no schedule where it quietly expires, and no archive I hold onto afterwards.
Your control
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. One click, and you're out - no questions, no guilt trip.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site (like my Function Health referral) earn me a small credit if you sign up through them, at no extra cost to you. I only share things I actually use myself. Full disclosure is also in the footer of the main page.
Analytics
Two tools run here, and they work differently.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and page views. It sets no cookies and cannot identify you or follow you across other sites.
Google Analytics was added in September 2026, and this one does use cookies. It tells me which pages actually get read, roughly which country visitors are in, and whether people arrived from a search or a link - which is how I decide what is worth writing more of.
What it records: a randomly generated ID stored in a cookie on your device, your approximate location from a shortened IP address, your browser and device type, and which pages you opened. What it does not record: your name, your email, or anything you typed. I never connect it to the email list.
I read all of it in aggregate - totals and trends, never an individual visitor. The data sits on Google's servers and is subject to Google's own privacy policy as well as this one, so if you want the full picture of what Google does with it, that is the document to read.
If you would rather not be counted, every major browser can block or delete cookies in its privacy settings, and Google offers an opt-out browser add-on. Blocking either tool costs you nothing here - the site works exactly the same, and I would rather you read it than be measured.
Hosting and security
This site is served through Cloudflare over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and this page is encrypted. Cloudflare sees what any web host sees - your IP address, your browser, which page you asked for - and uses it to deliver the page and block abuse.
There is no database here and no account to log into. The site is a set of files. There is nothing on it to break into.
If you buy something
The toolkit is sold through Gumroad. They take the payment and they hold your card details - those never reach me and I could not see them if I wanted to. What I receive is your email address and the fact that you bought it.
Links to other sites
This site links out - to Function Health, to Gumroad, to studies and tools I have found useful. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site, under their privacy policy, not mine. I have no control over what they collect and no way to see it.
Children
This site is written for adults making decisions about their own health. It is not intended for children, and I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given me an email address, tell me and I will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If what I collect changes, I will rewrite this page and change the date at the top. I am not going to quietly widen it and hope nobody rereads it.
Questions
